REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for consultations, programs, memberships, and related services at The Brilliant Health Institute. It applies to all patients at the time of purchase or scheduling.

1. Services Not Delivered
If you cancel before any portion of a service has been delivered — for example, before your first appointment in a purchased program, before an initial consultation of a membership term — you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
 

2. Services Delivered
Once a service and time have been invested and delivered, it is non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

•    Completed consultations (initial consultations or otherwise).
•    Any course where assets have already been delivered.
•    Any session, service, course, call, or clinical visit that has already taken place within a multi-session program or package
•    Lab tests that have been ordered, collected, or resulted
•    Lab interpretation time
•    Any time spent outside of a consultation time preparing, researching, and planning for your visits
•    Supplements, protocols, or personalized treatment plans that have been provided
•    Prescriptions or BHRT that have been prescribed or dispensed

For multi-session programs or packages, only the undelivered, remaining portion of the program may be eligible for a refund, at the practice's discretion, and only if requested before any additional sessions are used. No refund is issued for sessions already completed; they will be back-billed at my hourly rate of $500/hr, not the discounted pricing.
 

3. Memberships & Recurring Billing
Memberships renew automatically on a recurring basis for a minimum of 3 months, which is non-refundable. You may cancel a membership at any time after the minimum of 3 months to stop future billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments already processed for a current or completed billing period are non-refundable, as clinical access and services for that period have been made available to you. 

Memberships may be upgraded to $250/month based on complexity and severity of dysfunction at the provider’s sole discretion.

If a membership is canceled after the initial consultation, or before the 3-month minimum, consultations will be back-billed for the time spent before and after the appointments, and the consultation time itself at the hourly rate of $500/hr.
 

4. Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, and appointments missed without notice (no-shows), are treated as delivered services and are non-refundable. This time is reserved specifically for you and cannot be offered to another patient on short notice.

5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are always non-refundable once purchased, regardless of timing:

•    Lab test kits and lab processing fees once a test has been ordered
•    Supplements and other products once shipped or provided
•    Digital courses or downloadable materials once access has been granted

6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a service that has not yet been delivered, contact our office in writing. Eligible refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 10 business days of approval.

7. Exceptions
The Brilliant Health Institute may make exceptions to this policy at its sole discretion in cases of program or membership upgrades, documented medical emergencies, practice error, or as otherwise required by applicable law. HSA/FSA payments follow the same policy; patients are responsible for confirming reimbursement eligibility with their plan administrator.

This policy is provided at the time of purchase or scheduling and is available upon request. The Brilliant Health Institute reserves the right to update this policy; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
