MY MISSION

Brilliant Health Institute is a telemedicine functional medicine practice built on one belief: your body has the capacity to heal, and the right data, the right testing, and the right protocol can unlock it.

What sets Brilliant Health Institute apart is a combination most practices don't offer together — physician-led care, all-inclusive wellness programs and memberships, and a clinical focus narrowed specifically to cardiometabolic health, hormone optimization, and longevity. I don't treat everything; I treat this well.

My approach is built on three commitments:

Root-cause investigation. Symptoms are data points, not diagnoses. I look at the underlying metabolic, hormonal, and lifestyle drivers behind how you feel — not just what to prescribe for it.
Evidence-based protocols. Every recommendation is grounded in functional medicine testing, advanced biomarkers, and training through the Institute for Functional Medicine's Cardiometabolic and Hormone Advanced Practice Modules.
Patient-centered, not disease-centered care. You are not your diagnosis. My job is to listen carefully, then build a plan around your actual life and your actual goals.

CLAUDIA ARREGOYTIA, MD, ND, FMCP-M, ABHRT

Dr. Claudia is a dual-licensed physician (MD and ND) and a certified hormone specialist (ABHRT), with advanced functional medicine certification (FMCP-M) through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has completed IFM's Advanced Practice Modules in Cardiometabolic, Hormone, and Bioenergetics medicine — the specific clinical training behind Brilliant Health Institute's core focus areas.

Her path here started with her own health crisis. During her family medicine residency, she watched a system built for speed and volume over root-cause care — and experienced its limits firsthand when she developed chronic fatigue syndrome on top of an existing case of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Standard treatment didn't resolve it. Functional medicine did. That experience is the reason Brilliant Health Institute exists: to give patients the kind of thorough, data-driven, root-cause care she had to find for herself.

She founded Brilliant Health Institute to bring that same rigor to cardiometabolic health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), biohacking, and longevity medicine — combining advanced lab testing (including ApoB, Lp(a), and continuous glucose monitoring) with personalized hormone, nutrition, and lifestyle protocols.

Beyond her practice, Dr. Claudia is adjunct clinical faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where she trains the next generation of functional medicine practitioners, and serves as a Ringside Physician for the Washington State Department of Licensing. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, and offers telehealth care across Washington.

Outside the clinic, she's a snowboarder, tango dancer, and martial arts student — proof that her own commitment to vibrant health isn't theoretical.
