MY MISSION

Brilliant Health Institute is a telemedicine functional medicine practice. What sets BHI apart from other practices is my unique, all-inclusive wellness programs & memberships.

I believe that:

My mission is to provide practical and comprehensive health solutions that promote self-care and personal responsibility. I want to help you achieve optimal health so you can live your best life! When we are at our highest expression, we improve our communities and the world. My commitment to you is to seek the root cause of your health issues and empower you with the knowledge and tools to take charge of your health. I will provide a safe space and listen carefully; my practice is patient-centered, not disease-centered.

CLAUDIA ARREGOYTIA, MD, ND, FMCP-M, ABHRT

Dr. Claudia is a functional medicine physician, teacher, writer, dancer, researcher, herbalist, speaker, wellness advocate, student, and lover of life who sees health differently than many medical providers.

During her family medicine residency, she was trained to prioritize hospital and clinic efficiency goals instead of guiding in developing wellness. It was encouraged to treat with pharmaceuticals because it's faster, easier, and cheaper to prescribe than address the underlying issue. She became disillusioned, overburdened, frustrated, and stressed, eventually becoming burned out. The rigors of residency did not help in prioritizing her wellbeing and she eventually developed chronic fatigue syndrome, in the background of her already struggling with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS). Through her experience as a patient with complex illnesses with ill solutions, she had first-hand experience of the limitations of this medical system. She knew there had to be a better way.

After transforming her health, Dr. Claudia founded The Brilliant Health Institute, through which she pioneered a revolutionary approach to patient-centered health. Dr. Claudia guides her clients through her programs so that they are empowered to achieve their best personal health. Dr. Claudia understands that "Vibrant Health Comes from Within" and believes in the body's power to restore health and balance on a foundation of healing.

Dr. Claudia is a seeker of light and a manifestor of love. Her superpower is her intuition and her ability to find the most effective health information for the best possible outcomes. She uses this gift to help transform the lives of her clients. She is committed to improving the healthcare system, activating the body's healing capacity, and supporting optimal health and longevity through functional medicine.

She has devoted her life to improving health care for all. She stands for innovation, practicality & accountability, and against quick fixes and outdated information. Claudia leads by example and inspires others to take ownership of their health through education and self-love.

She specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), biohacking, anti-aging/longevity, and weight loss. She's dedicated to continuous education, attending numerous courses, mentorships, and conferences to refine and expand her knowledge. Her profession is not just a job – it's her greatest passion, and she is committed to providing a better approach to healthcare.

Beyond her dedication to functional medicine, Dr. Claudia actively contributes to the healthcare community. She serves as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, sharing her knowledge and experience with future functional medicine practitioners. Additionally, her commitment to health and safety extends to her role as a Ringside Physician for the Washington State Department of Licensing.

Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys an active life through snowboarding, tango, martial arts training, and spending time with loved ones.
